# Barient 24 / 45 Winch Replacement

Has anyone found a replacement mainsheet winch for a 33 that has the same bolt pattern as the stock one that came with the boat?

Last year I was experiencing a skipping action every several turns of the winch handle in the original Barient sheet winch on my Nonsuch 33 #8. I found a deal on a new Lewmar 44 self tailing winch on EBAY. The bolt pattern is not the same as the original but the winch fits the space and works great.
