Hi Eautha
Your hatches (and opening ports) are probably made by Atkins Hoyle

. You can find replacements for most of their ‘legacy’ hardware like ocean hatches; and you can find parts, and reconditioning services. You may find Atkins Hoyle very expensive. An alternative is Hammerhead Nautical ([www.hhns.ca](http://www.hhns.ca)). The owner is a former Atkins Hoyle employee who knows the equipment inside out offers parts and services at a much lower cost than AH and offer reconditioning services. Note he also prices in $C instead of $US like AH does even though they are a Canadian company.

I have recently done a major refit on a 1980 Niagara 35 (also built by Hinterhoeller / designed by Mark Ellis) and I rebuilt all the opening hatches and fixed ports originally from Atkins Hoyle, with parts from Hammerhead (knobs, arms, thru-hardware, etc) and various industry suppliers (e.g. for seals, adhesives, etc). This included my removing the hatch frames from the boat, removing the old sun-damaged lenses; sandblasting, re-anodizing frames, installing new acrylic lenses and neoprene seals, etc etc. The original Atkins Hoyle hardware is very good quality and in my case was worth reconditioning – for a tiny fraction of replacement cost or renewal by AH.

I learned most of what I needed to know watching Youtube videos. I would be happy to share info and pics about this process.
