Hello Nonsuch owners,
I totally agree with Lloyd about Arnie Lind at A & L Enterprises.
We haven’t owned our 1989 30U #484 for two seasons, but the shell of the catalytic heater picture from Jean looks to be like my former one.
I forget the brand name, but I’m certain I was able to find the owners manual online. Additionally, I found Arnie in the Seattle, Washington, USA area and he did a splendid job rebuilding mine for a couple hundred dollars(US). As part of our purchase, we knew the cat heater did not work. We didn’t know what the exact problem was, but after discussing with Arnie, he knew the problem and actually sent us a video of the heater working after repair. He also rechromed the grill like new. Shipping to and from was as expensive as the rebuild.
