Sponsored by the Nonsuch West Long Island Sound Gang , this informative workshop will discuss , trade ideas and ask about our most important (and basically) only sail. Cruising chutes and riding sails will also be discussed for those adventurous Nonsuch owners. Video recording is under review pending some logistic questions.
Paul Beaudin is the senior sail consultant at Doyle and our guest speaker. Paul is a world class sailor who has consulted (and sailed) for multiple offshore campaigns and numerous one class designs. I’ve known Paul over four decades. He made our last mainsail aboard Aloki and then converted it into a Doyle StackPack , which we love.
I’ve asked Paul to share his knowledge and give his insight to help trim a fast & efficient Nonsuch mainsail in addition to available/appropriate materials, and appropriate reefing sequences. Recent ‘discourse’ discussions of connection methods and use of soft shackles will also be touched on.
There is no cost for this event and open to all in the Nonsuch family .
