The Liquid Soap application is normally applied twice- once when first bending on the sail at start of season- and then midway  
If sailing a lot In strong winds which build up the salt then a bit more often  
Safe Sailing

I wish to thank everyone for offering your suggestions which have given me the confidence to move ahead with the installation. I have decided to postpone this installation until warm weather returns. In the meantime my Westerbeke will get me out on the water.

It is. They just don’t know it. It’s why we retired down here. 🙂

But to be fair, it is _very_ rainy in the Bay Area right now and looks like it will be for a while.

Actually it’s quite cold today. The low is 49 with a high of only 58. We just bundle up and tough it out.
