Alternator/starter motor wiring connections

Sorry to bother you all with a problem that I created for myself, but I am desperate and losing sleep over this.
When removing the Westerbeke W10-2 from my 1987 N22, I got in too much of a rush and failed to properly record the wiring connections for the alternator and starter motor. I have connected all but 3 wires with confidence. If anyone who owns a 22 or knows of someone that does, and is anywhere near Punta Gorda in S.W. Florida I would really like to look at the wiring to compare to my own.
I know of a 22 in Havre De Grace Maryland named Water Music Hull #43, which I saw when I was there last summer. I am returning to Maryland within the next few months if I can contact the owner of this boat.

My original message was “too long to post” so here is the second photo showing the wires that I think go to the starter motor

In this photo, it looks like the heavy red goes on the large terminal of the solenoid and the small one on the small terminal. Note how we end out messages which tells us your name and all the other info.

Joe, thank you for your response, and I apologize for once again forgetting the signature section. Isn’t there a way of setting up an automated inclusion of one’s signature section?
Any way, I will be working on the boat tomorrow and will examine your advise as to how it may remedy part of my mess.

Thanks again,

Hi Ron
This link is to the W10-2 parts manual. Page 230 is the wiring harness schematic. It shows the wire colors and where they connect. Maybe this will help.

The Owners manual for Nonsuch 22’s has the wiring diagram for the alternator. It is on the INA webs site. www.nonsuch.org, log in and look under Manuals.
