I am considering changing the location of the exhaust outlet from the stern to the starboard side of the hull to eliminate the stern’s diesel mustache. Has anyone else done that yet? My NS36 has it routed that way. Other than keeping it above the water line, any other suggestions or concerns?
Probably obvious, but check risk of exhaust fumes getting into the cockpit area.

Years ago Murray Cressman sold an exhaust through hull to make the conversion. I have been do some searches recently but have not found any even though that type of fitting is used on a number of European produce vessels.
