We have #27 and are well on our way to restoring her.
At some point, the main house batteries were moved to a really nice and very functional battery box/step/toolbox that replaced the ladder in the companionway. The only thing is that it takes up quite a bit of space and makes getting in/out of the berths a bit squishy.
Can anyone tell me where the original battery location for the house bank was on a 30 classic, and if there’s room for 4 deep cycle 6V batteries? I suspect it would be in the aft space below the starboard berth, but thought I’d ask!
