This is a two session online workshop intended to be a warm up to the 2026 INA Rendezvous in Greenport, NY.

ALL INA Members and friends are welcome to attend. It will be most interesting to Rendezvous participants planning to pass through Plum Gut on the way to Greenport.

In the first session, Peter DePascale & Rob Cohen speak about the tools they use for route planning and demonstrate their favorites using Plum Gut as an example.

In the second session, Rendezvous participants will share their Greenport routing plans and the tools they found most useful. Each participant will have 5 mins to allow everyone who wants to speak an opportunity.

Here are Soave’s answers to the questions for this Thursday…

How many nautical miles are you traveling to get to Greenport?

We’re departing on 8/16 from Westport, CT which is about 65 miles from Greenport. We’ll probably stop in Westbrook Sunday evening.

Will you pass through Plum Gut ? If so when ?

Yes we plan on passing through Plum Gut at 1:30 PM on 8/17.

When do you plan to arrive in Greenport ?

In time for Happy Hour on 8/17, perhaps a bit earlier (4pm).

Do you recommend tools other than the ones already discussed ?

I shared my favorites at the last meeting, but I’ve since heard some great suggestions that I’m looking forward to investigating.

The next session is Thursday @7pm. Same meeting link as last week… I’ll repost it here on Wednesday. Looking forward to hearing what others are planning.
