I am a new owner of Jotu, NS 36 #15. I am happy to have joined the INA and have found the guide to new owners extremely helpful so far.
This is the first of what I expect will be many questions…
I want to replace the packing in the stuffing box but was unable to find the size needed. Can anyone share this with me? Also, any tips or tricks from anyone who has done this?

Lee: The owner’s manual should have a diagram, size and instructions on that subject.

I would suggest going to marinehowto.com . Search stuffing box and you will find an excellent article by RC Collins on how to do this job and why to do as he suggests.
If you have not been to that site there is a lot of very valuable info available.
