I live in the Puget Sound area, and I’m in the process of purchasing a NS30U (I’ll update my membership records once the purchase is final). Coincidentally, I’m planning to visit family in New England next August, and thought I might take a side trip to Greenport for a day during the rendezvous week to tour a few boats, talk to owners, make a few connections, etc. Based on the schedule, what would be the best day for me to do that? Maybe Tuesday or Wednesday? Thanks for any advice!
Russ,
I don’t think you’re being ignored; I’m just not sure that the detailed schedule’s been nailed down yet.
As INA Past Co-President, I sit in on the Rendezvous organizing committee’s monthly meetings. The next one’s this evening. I’ll try to bring it up and will either get an answer posted, or at least some estimate of when they expect to have the schedule information worked out.

Thank you very much - just what I was hoping to know!
Russ
Russ - Thanks for your interest in the Rendezvous!
We welcome anyone passing by to say Hello and meet fellow owners and enthusiasts at the docks - It’s a fantastic sight to see a large collection of Nonsuches together at one marina and we draw attention because of the unique aesthetics of our boats!
The goal of the Rendezvous is to bring our members together for a multi-day event so they can socialize, cruise and even race in a relaxed environment of like-minded owners, crew, former owners and wanna-be owners. Unfortunately because the event is an expensive operation to organize, we’re unable to offer individual days or partial attendance tickets to daily events.
Hopefully you might be able to reorganize your schedule and register to attend the entire Rendezvous. The committee is organizing seminars and other valuable info sessions to be announced that you and other new owners will appreciate.
Here’s the link to the INA website to keep track of the latest information and registration as it becomes released: International Nonsuch Association - 2026 INA Rendezvous
Hope we see you there!
Bob Gehrman, INA President
Hi Russ,
Hope you can make it to Greenport, NY for the rendezvous, there will be plenty of boats to see and owners to meet.
If the trip to Greenport doesn’t work out, post your availability and location during your visit, I’ll bet a couple owners in MA,RI, CT, or NY will invite you for a sail. Nonsuch sailors are a friendly bunch.
We keep Soave in Westport, CT and would gladly have you for a daysail.
Good luck with your purchase of a NS30U… great boat.
Rob…
