I’m just finishing my second season with Third Base, a 1984 NS30C and the third owner. I’ve just discovered (my mechanical knowledge being poor), thanks to a member of the Yacht Club and an examination of the parts list, that the engine silencer is missing. Instead, there’s a pool filter to protect the air intake, and the box (the silencer from the forth edition of the parts list) on which is inscribed WESTERBEKE has disappeared…
Rather a peculiar situation, don’t you think?
Do you have any idea where these parts are still available?

Jean: I believe that someone on this list had gone electric and has a complete W-27 without a use for it. Ask!!
