Exactly.
This same thing happens at home. I’ve installed DIY mini-split systems in our house and they also come with pre-charged lines. You must find a good place to coil the excess, but that allows pretty much anyone to install them and they work just fine. I’ve installed non-DIY units in other rooms and it’s a PIB. You do end up with a neater installation in the sense that there’s no excess, but you need to be very careful about flaring and torquing and so on. And then you need a licensed HVAC guy to check it all out, charge the system and sign it off. I have learned to love pre-charged lines.
