Hi All,
The Rendezvous will be our first multi-day cruise on Soave. I like lists, and realize I don’t have a list for prepping for a cruise.
I wonder if anyone has a list that they have found useful for cruises.
Also for folks that that have attended Rendezvous events before… anything you wish you would have brought that you don’t normally sail with ?

Rob - I prepping myself to take Grace up the Chesapeake and over to Greenport and find I don’t have a list either. I’m usually getting on to a charter or clients boat so I have developed a fairly complete seabag list. You wouldn’t necessarily pack everything in this list but you should think about why you would or wouldn’t.

Only the weather will decide the route. Ed has signed on so we can sail through the night. The wind looks to stay light along the NJ coast so if it looks too rough going around Montauk we will head up to hell gate and the sound.

Especially 10 pairs of underwear.
Don’t forget to double the rum ration and you will sail the outside.

This is going to be overkill, but I have a list. It is an attached Excel spread sheet. I have another that listed the contact info for all the marinas along the way as we did not have a set itinerary. Weather and sightseeing altered a lot.
In 2021, we purchased then delivered our N30U from Lynn, MA to Ithaca, NY. 618 miles in 18 days. 25 canal locks on the Erie.
I filled plastic storage tubs with stuff. Drove out with it. Loaded the boat. Drove home with empty tubs and our boat stands and cover. Then we took a train back so as not to leave a car in Lynn.
We left in mid May. It was cold. We got to test the furnace! My list has winter gear on it.
Page one has what was in each tub. Page 2, where it ended up on the boat (none of that is in the same place now). Page 3, stuff I needed to measure for future possibilities. And the last is what I needed to pack or purchase specifcally for the trip. That page is probably pertains to what you are looking for. We were packed to the gills. Some stuff (paddleboard) we left home.
I later helped a friend take a Catalina 30 from Ithaca to the Chesapeake. He was very inexperienced. I gave him this spreadsheet, but added a little as his boat was new to him. His boat was a 1987, with 400 hours on the engine. Before he brought it to Ithaca, it had never left Great Sacadaga Lake, an 11 mile long reservoir. I added these chores and items:
Change the oil AND pack enough oil to make a change and a filter.
Change the belt AND pack a spare.
Check the coolant level AND pack a gallon of coolant.
If your engine has an electric fuel pump, buy a spare.
Change the water pump impeller, pack a spare.
Change AND pack a primary and secondary fuel filter.

Brian - This list has gotten me through deliveries and charters that last 2 weeks to a month with laundry opportunities once a week. so I’m sticking with my 10 pairs of underwear. The rum ration is in the provisioning list. 
Excel is not an accepted format. The scaling is not consistent, but here it is in PDF
