Apologies in advance for not including this in my last post - making things a bit simpler -

After you create your account, you will automatically land on the topic that describes how to edit your profile, including the typical signature info, and enabling digest mode or mailing list mode (if you want to receive an email for each post).
After getting an account and signing in, your “session” will remain active for 60 days, so unless you logout, returning to the site using the same web browser will not require a login.
