First Posting from a New Owner

I became the owner and caretaker ln 10/24. Have not seen her since due to medical reasons. She is berthed in Noank CT at Maxwells Boatyard. In the water and ready to sail. I have owned a Hunter sailboat that I kept behind my condo in Freeport NY. That was 40 years ago. I never dreamed I would own a nonsuch. I will not give up on it.

Best wishes for getting back to the boat, John!

Hi John,

She’s in the water awaiting your return - nothing like a beautiful day on the water to temporarily erase the thoughts of medical issues…

John,

Even if it’s just to go sit on the boat is very therapeutic, it will put new wind in your sail.

You will find the Nonsuch to be a wonderful boat to sail. Reasonably fast, she reefs with ease and points well.

I hope your health hurdles are passed soon so you can enjoy your new boat.

I find my boat an oasis in the city. I feel so different as soon as I board. It is amazing

We’ve decided to move to the boat June-1 to Oct-1, like John it is an oasis in an increasingly busier city.
