Nonsuch Swim Platforms - Bulk Order for 2014/2015

Hello, all Nonsuchers. I’m happy to announce that we will be kicking off this year’s bulk order for swim platforms and the good news is that prices have remained unchanged from last year.

For the past nine years I’ve coordinated the bulk ordering of swim platforms for our Nonsuch group. To date there have been almost 50 swim platforms made for the 26s, 30s, 33s and 36s shipped to locations in Canada and the U.S. Stainless Outfitters can also provide a swim platform for the inboard version of the 22s.

To achieve bulk order pricing we should ideally have a minimum order of 5 platforms.

The following represents the current pricing. Please note that it is expressed in Canadian dollars and is exclusive of taxes and shipping.

Platform with 3/4" Starboard polymer(off white) decking, telescoping 4 step
ladder (mounted under platform) & mid transom step/grab bar…$1770.00

Replacement stern rail gate w/ pelican hook, pvc coated wire & shackles…$85.00

If you would like to participate or simply have further questions please send me an email.

I installed one last year, my wife loves it, my dog loves it, my guests love it and I think it is outstanding!

I can recommend it as a really valuable addition to my Ns30.

We whole heartedly second Brian’s endorsement. We have had our swim ladder for 5 years or so and consider it one of our best boat upgrades. Quite apart from its usefulness when swimming it is also very handy when entering and exiting the dinghy.

After the first season with my boat I can see where a swim platform is needed, however I would like to know what impact they have on handling the dinghy. Can anybody with a swim platform installed share their experiences or pictures of the platform and their dinghy together?

Cheers.

John my swim platform has two attachments, one on each corner. My dingy harness clips onto them for towing.. It also makes boarding the dingy a breeze and a much easier egress.

I have also stored bicycles on the platform while passage making.

Some of the photographs I posted of the rendezvous would show this. However I will have a look for better pics and post them..

Brian,

Thanks. I went back through your pictures and found a picture of Katuna under sail (motoring) with the dinghy hoisted over their platform.
Question answered.

Thanks again for all your pictures, they really helped remember the good time I had at the Rendezvous.

Cheers.
