Nonsuch Swim Platforms - Bulk Order for 2015/2016‏

Hello, all Nonsuchers. I’m happy to announce that we will be kicking off this year’s bulk order for swim platforms.

For the past ten years I’ve coordinated the bulk ordering of swim platforms for our Nonsuch group. To date there have been over 50 swim platforms made for the 26s, 30s, 33s and 36s shipped to locations in Canada and the U.S. Stainless Outfitters can also provide a swim platform for the inboard version of the 22s.

To achieve bulk order pricing we should ideally have a minimum order of 5 platforms.

The following represents the current pricing. Please note that it is expressed in U.S. dollars and is exclusive of taxes and shipping.

Platform with 3/4" Starboard polymer(off white) decking, telescoping 4 step
ladder (mounted under platform) & mid transom step/grab bar…$1495.00

Replacement stern rail gate w/ pelican hook, pvc coated wire & shackles…$80.00

If you would like to participate or simply have further questions please send me an email. Please note that the bulk ordering process will wrap up at the end of December 2015.

Sounds and looks very good. However, we like to carry our 8’ hard dinghy on davits for longer trips. These would hang above the platform. How can we continue to use our dinghy davits to raise and lower our dinghy with the swim platform below it?

Thanks for any advice.

Hi John, I carry a dinghy on davits and the platform is no problem. In fact many of the installed platforms are on boats with davits and no issues have been reported to date.

Ron,
Put me down for one to fit my N33 please. Please explain the need for a replacement gate, etc and include pix if available. Also how much length does platform add to a boat?

Hi Ed, your current ladder fills the gap in the stern rail while it’s in the stowed position. With the new swim platform the ladder is stowed directly underneath the platform deck leaving a gap in the stern rail. The new gate will close that gap for obvious safety reasons.

Want starboard decking and tread, stainless loops welded and gate replacement. Hole to hole distance is not yet known but I can get it next week.
I have been planning on an early launch in March so if possible would like the items here toward the last week in February.
Can you suggest any other items that I would need to complete this installation as well as advice on placement, etc.
Thank you for making this possible.
Ed

Got your order Ed. I’ll check to see if it’s possible to have your order advanced to the end of February. Typically the platforms are shipped in March.

When & how do I pay?

Hi Ed, I just spoke to the manufacturer about your end of February delivery date and they indicated that they should be able to accommodate that.

In any event when they contact you about the payment details in February please remind them of your timing.

Regards…Ron

Good news Ron and thanks for your efforts in making it happen.

Any updates on this I have not heard from them yet about payment or delivery.

Is this really about orders from 3-4 years ago? I’m expecting to buy a NS30C this spring and wondered if these were available in 2019
Rick

Hi Peter, I’ll give the manufacturer a call to see where they stand. I’ll let you know shortly.

Regards…Ron

Hi Richard, yes these platforms are still available. The bulk order for this year is currently being assembled. If you decide you’re interested please let me know.

Regards…Ron

Thanks, Ron. Closing on the boat won’t be until the end of April. What is the deadline and cost?

Thanks,
Rick
