Hey guys -

What a damn sweet looking boat … lucky enough to be going to gorgeous Lunenburg. (Trust me, NS22s are the BEST.) She even has a dinghie !!

OK - very clearly, you guys are experienced haulers and your trailer looks great (and will be very handy for storing/moving Pangur). You know what you’re doing. As we all know, the only thing that may go “doing, doing, doing” will be that mast (tho I am certain it’s well-tied-down). Of course, the top of the mast is the most flexible so, just maybe, you want one decent line from the top (or close to the top) tied tight to something good and solid on the trailer i.e. slightly bending the mast down for the trip so it can’t go “doing, doing, doing”, up and down, for the whole trip. Once you set her up, etc., you’ll notice that the mast spends it’s life slightly bent aft due to the weight of the wishbone and sail.

So glad this worked out for you. Have a hell of a good safe trip.

Congrats! Good pick on how to do the mast on a trailer.
