Thanks, this is very helpful information, especially the replacement cable part number. My problem is a sticky stiff shifter, which can become disconcerting when trying to manoeuvre in marina, having to fight with the shifter.
I’m now thinking I should replace the throttle cable at the same time. Do you know if the throttle cable is the same as the shifter cable Teleflex CCX63308?

I think I did. I’m not 100% sure they are both the same. Start soaking those screws that hold it together now and use a lot of vibration to get them loose.
