Tony Bailey kept a boat in Stonington Ct and flew over in the summers from the UK to sail her along the NE coast. It’s a pleasant read into areas we probably sailed with some local history to entertain.
The Mysterious case of Rudolph Diesel - Douglas Brant
If you have a diesel engine in your boat - this factual yet somewhat Agatha Christie style is a good read .
The Cruise of the Cachelot 1898
Written in an exceptional style by an educated English seaman this account dives into the business and reality of whale hunting along the coasts. I enjoyed this book to the point where I added a first edition to my library .
