I am missing one of the thumb screws on my 33. Two of the screws lock in the companion way stairs, Four hold down the dinette. I am attaching a photo. Thank you

I was missing the two companionway ladder screws. I replaced them with these.
Brian has found what looks like a serviceable alternative, although I wonder how the plastic knobs will hold up? If you enter: 5/16"-18 x 1/2" Thumb Screw Stainless Steel in Amazon’s search window there are several all stainless alternatives that also look serviceable without the plastic knob.
Yes. I don’t like the plastic either. They do have some all-stainless ones, as does McMaster-Carr, but I didn’t like them. I looked high and low for a stainless knurled knob, but couldn’t find one in that thread size. I didn’t want the wing screw or flat tab style because they seemed riskier for bare feet. These plastic ones seem more durable than I expected and I figured if they broke I would only be out a few bucks.
