I need to replace the gaskets on my Atkins port holes. They seem to be 3/8 round or are they slightly larger?
Check your email Thor.
I used round 3/8” that I got from Grainger. Mark
Being female(!), I found plastic butter knives to be an immediate solution; just the right size to prop the port to the perfect height! A bit more attractive are lengths of slats from the bottom of old pull down window shades cut to that same length. I’ve used both of these and they have stayed put in any sailing conditions we’ve encountered. I simply store them in the rail just below the ports.

Brilliant Patty ! Out family motto is ‘How can I make this harder’ so I searched out the right Allen key to tighten the hinges till the friction keeps them open.
I ordered from them from Atkins (sure there are cheaper options) and used Sikaflex 221. Blasted them all with water from a hose and no leaks!
