Mangled stern rail from uncontrolled jibe in blow

I foolishly jibed in heavy conditions and mangled my stern tail very badly. It caught the outboard that I should not have had on the stern. Likely beyond bending back into shape. I’m looking for a stern tail from a 33 before I have one fabricated.

Hi Michael, perhaps this is a long shot, but there was a recent post of a Nonsuch on fire in Norwalk CT. (Nonsuch on fire - Norwalk, CT). I don’t know what size of Nonsuch it was, 30 or 33, but perhaps if you could track it down and find the owner, the stern rail could be salvaged for your boat.
Good luck.

The boat that burned in Norwalk is a 36.

Sorry to hear about the accident… accidents happen to the best of us..
