NS 26C Being Scrapped in Wilson NY

This boat is a 1984 with a blown 2 cylinder 13 HP engine.

The mast and boom look good.

The Barient winches are corrosion free. While they are stiff they look great. There are four winches, I believe two of them are self tailing.
The cleats are all corrosion free and in good condition.
Portholes are all intact, as is the hatch.
Transmission is present.
The interior is rough.
There is a sail, with the old slide system but I don’t know of the condition.
The stanchions and bases look great.

There is a two burner stove with oven.

Kevin Jerge, the owner of the scrap yard can be reached at 716-836-1001.

Randy,
I too went for the drive and took a look. If anyone wants to send me their email address I can give you access to my google drive folder with some pictures. I’ll add that the front casting of the wishbone is almost worn through; no extension on the end. The pushpit and ladder look good, there is no pulpit. Kevin wanted $300 for the Barient 17ST, likely the only winch worth talking about. Sail number 88. A couple of the ports had springs on them to hold them open, I didn’t know that existed.
