I keep seeing this marketplace listing in the New York area, the price looks like a steal. I think the boat owner is not reachable, and the yard is trying to sell the boat.
Sharing here with the community so that we don’t see another Nonsuch move to scrap.
The boat’s also listed at that price on the INA Nonsuch Marketplace: International Nonsuch Association - NONSUCH 26U 1986 Reduced price- $4,500 (Roth)
That ad, posted by one of the owners, contains the explanation:
Engine repair is required. Possibly requires injector pump replacement or repair per mechanic.
Disabled owner unable to use boat or invest in repairs.
If that’s the case, I really hope someone picks up on this for both the boat and the owners’ sakes.
