As of today, I am aware of the following “maybes” who would plan to attend an informal raft up on Saturday ,August 31, 2024 in Oyster Bay, NY . I say “maybes” as life, health , weather and mechanical issues always has us guessing. Understandable. At present we have six Nonsuches rafting.
As paying for a single mooring to raft was off the charts in cost, and as we are thusfar only six - if the weather allows I think we’ll be fine hanging on one or two anchors. If weather allows , we could stay rafted overnight or, break off near sunset to single anchors. If you prefer a single mooring , please contact OBMC via Dockwa or phone. ($2.00 per foot) www.OBMC.com
I will be anchored in the ‘raft area’ listed above as of 11 am on Saturday. Suggested mutual good cheer and invited tours of each others Nonsuch will ensue until cocktails at various cockpits and evening meal aboard respective yachts. We would disband late Sunday morning after breakfast.
