Please let me know if anyone is interested in sailing together from Narragansett Bay to the Rendezvous in Greensport. Our tentative plans are to leave Jamestown, RI early on August 16 and spend the night in Block Island. We will then proceed to Greensport on August 17. Of course, this is plan is weather dependent.

Sounds like the start of a flotilla like the one coming from western LIS.
It might be fun if some of the boats coming from Narragansett Bay shared location data on the same platform as boats coming from other directions.
I’m using NoForgeignLand.com. A free app that uses the GPS in your phone.
I’ve created a group named Nonsuch. Once you setup your boat on NoForeignLand and join the Nonsuch group you can filter the map to see current location of the members.
Not going to be perfect or a replacement for AIS because it updates only when your phone has service, but the app remembers your tracks and updates when connectivity is restored.
