Greetings and ahoy!
Here is the radio area on our 1983 Nonsuch 30C. I’m not fond of how untidy the area looks. What have folks done to make the area look neater?
Thank you!

I’d guess whoever designed the shelf, intended for the wires dangling under the radio to be secured behind the brace supporting the shelf. That change would make it look a little more tidy.
If you are thinking of doing more than than cable management , you might ask other NS30C owners for pictures of how they satisfy their nav station requirements. Soave is a NS33 so there are more options, the things I like about Soave’s nav station are :
It depends on how you expect to use the space and how you prioritize activities on the boat. For example, when day-sailing you won’t value the nav station as much as when cruising.
Smooth sailing,

Hi Richard, I’ll take a photo of mine (NS30C) when I’m on the boat this week. I have a rotating arm so that I have the VHF available facing outside when sailing and inside when not underway. The AIS is attached to the VHF and installed not far from it. Although out in the open it is out of the way opposed to having it in the quarter berth.
