We have a 1983-30C. We see some 30s have a folding settee table that allows for assembling a large berth. Was this a Nonsuch-offered feature? Or do owners retrofit? (pictures of another Nonsuch 30C). Thank you.
I don’t know if it was standard or an option.
I had a similar folding/kneeling table base on my 1987 Nonsuch 26 Ultra. Since it was done with screws sporting the Canadian square head rather than slotted- or Phillips- head, I always assumed it came from the factory.
I didn’t like it, ingenious though it was. It just seemed to catch feet when moving around the settee. I took it off and disassembled it. I think I still have the pieces in storage somewhere.
Some old, old INA Updates that I was leafing through once had a design someone offered up for a table that fastened on the bulkhead and swung down when wanted as a table. If that’s of interest, I can go look for that.

That folding table was from me, “Corvus”. I too found the original table nice but always in the way. Others have asked about it so here are the details. BTW, very nice bed in the picture.

The table in the top picture came from the factory. Most of the 30C would have had them installed. As Bob said they came on the 26C as well. The one on La Reina was removed before we bought her and we do not miss it. We bought 2 cheap folding tables that we pull out if needed but that does not happen very often. We have a full enclosure and a cockpit table that we use most of the time. It is just so much easier moving around down below without a table. The 30C came in a couple of configurations. One had a full length cabinet at the bow. Others had 3 or 4 drawers and a small alcove above them. Coronet (30C)) had the drawers. Instead of a top drawer there was a pull out table. We have a fold up table on the door. When folded up, there is a bar that holds it at the door which allows the door to open with the table up. It also folds down, two hinged pieces, that is supported by a bar that screws into the floor. Confusing, I know.
If interested, I can take some picts and share next week.
