Has anyone happen to locate a “reasonably priced” 90 degree exhaust elbow for our Westerbeke engines? It’s has the 1.5" thread at one end, and fits the 2" exhaust hose on the other end.
I’m even considering taking a cracked one and repair it by welding the cast elbow with #77 rods.

Murray Cressman sells one made of stainless steel. Not cheap but well made and should last a good, long time. I bought one but haven’t used it yet. Just waiting for the old one to quit.
I would go with Murray's ...had original rust right through........Mike Schiff TAYVA 407 N30U...Pultneyville NY--------------------------------------------
Cressman elbow still less expensive than Westerbeke part. Don't wait till the old one gives up the ghost ; the mess and black smoke are almost impossible to clean up. Painting is the only option.
I contacted Murray Cressman but sadly he responded with this message.
“Sorry, but due to health issues, I had to stop building “SAILOR” parts last fall.”
Therefore, I’m back in search for a reasonable $$ replacement exhaust riser elbow. Maybe I’ll try a machine shop with stainless steel fabrication skills.
Plus, our prayers are with Murray for a speedy recovery.
