The last item I need to find is the fiberglass wrap that was on the 2 1/2 inch pipes leading from the manifold to the injection elbow. Old one was 2" x 15 feet long. I could reuse the old wrap but I washed it and may have ruined it in the process.
As far as I can see this is an item used on race cars. I can’t find it here in Canada so maybe I just need to mail order 50 feet from Amazon. I suspect it is in the Nonsuch to keep other bits in the engine compartment like the cockpit floor from catching fire, or to keep the engine compartment from getting too hot, so I believe it’s important.
Hoping someone on this list knows where I can get it or get the equivalent. It might be a common fire proofing thing??
I re-used mine Tom. As long as it is intact it will be fine. It’s main function is to prevent you from getting burnt on the hot pipe. Reduction in engine room temp is nice too.
Pre Covid-19 I went down to the local automotive store (Lordco) and picked up a roll there. It would have been less on line but not a great deal less after adding in shipping. I got it right away and I got to llok at it before I put my money down.
Walmart lists it as well. No price . I don’t shop there but you may feel differently. https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/Design-Engineering-DEI-010130-Exhaust-System-Wrap-TITANIUM-TM/PRD3R7HJ935LKLX
If you Google “exhaust heat wrap Canada” you will find a large number of suppliers on line.

Thanks all for your help.
I did find a couple places, reasonable, but must be shipped. Could not find anywhere local to pick up.
I’v decided to just wrap the old one on again. No one will see this except me anyway.
