Riding sail

I found a riding sail on the bowels of my boat looks like it has never been used. It has a large Nonsuch 30 written on it. I have no clue how to mount this? I looks like it could go on the topping lift and be pulled up by the spare haylard but that would have to go above the blocks which is about 8 feett of the cockpit deck? Anybody have a riding sail or info on how to fly it?

I attach the peak to a halyard, the tack to the outer end of the boom and the clew forward to a bow cleat -- my riding sail does not ride on the topping pennant, but flies next to it...

Same as Bill, nothing attaches to the TL. Needs to be tight, but works well.

Bill - somehow I am missing the picture - can you please send again?

This is interesting stuff, for my new-to-me NS26C.

Hope this one makes it!

While locating the picture of my riding sail I came across a close-up of one rigged on NS30 Virgin Gorda, formerly out of Kingston – a much smaller version (probably better) but rigged the same way.

Anyone has the dimensions for the riding sail?

Any thoughts on this as an occasional riding sail? or too light construction?
