W46 oil pressure switch

Hi -

Can anyone opine as to why there might be 2 oil pressure switches on my W46 and why there are 2 leads coming from both?

Hoping to start the engine this weekend.

One for a buzzer and one for a gauge?

The W46 wiring diagram shows a oil sender that connects to the oil pressure gauge, an oil switch, and an auxiliary oil switch. The 1st switch should connect to the buzzer/alarm. Could be the 2nd auxiliary switch connects to a secondary buzzer/alarm in a different location? Perhaps one at engine location and one at instrument panel?

The wiring diagram also shows two “devices” K1 and K2 with oil 1st switch connected to K1 and auxiliary oil switch to K2. Do you know what K1 and K2 are?

In troubleshooting my oil switch problem two years ago, I found that Westerbeke installed oil wires that were only used depending on which instrument panel you had, otherwise they didn’t connect to anything.
