The origin story of the Nonsuch boats includes an anecdote that the first owner, Gordon Fisher I believe, told the designer Mark Ellis that he wanted a boat that he could take his family out on and serve wine and cheese in the cockpit while he was reefing the boat. Most owners would agree he got what he asked for. The Nonsuches are seaworthy and sea kindly. They sail flat, surprisingly fast and are easily sailed short or single handed. Good luck.
