I need to identify the make of the head on my 1989 33 to get the proper rebuild kit. I’m also considering replacing. Would appreciate advice from anyone who has tackled either project. Thanks.
Hi,
Looks like a basic Jabsco toilet. You can buy a complete pump unit for a bit more money than the rebuild kit and save yourself the trouble of disassembly of the old pump then installation of rebuild parts.
And a whole new Jabsco head is not a lot more cost than the pump, especially if you can find it on sale.
You may need a heat gun or hair dryer to warm up white sanitation hose. Makes it easier to bend and get it properly back onto the pump unit because it’s a fairly stiff hose in a confined space.
Hope that helps,
Don

Looks like it will be simple enough to replace your old Jabsco toilet with their latest model as I did when I got my N33 two years ago. All bolt holes ought to line up which will make the job pretty straightforward.
You could do just the pump mechanism only but the cost hardly warrants that approach given the age of the original unit.
