Name decal source

I closed this week on my NS30U and will take possession soon. What’s the best source for the name decal? It will be known as SAKINA and when it’s not sailing, it will be at Chalk Point Marine, West River, MD.

Congratulations Dan!

I’ve used a company now called Lettering.com for boat decals. Be sure to purchase the applicator tool for applying it.

I hope to see you out on the Chesapeake Bay sometime!

Dan,

Welcome to the INA! Here is a link to Accent Graphics, Inc., on Third Street in Annapolis: http://www.accentgraphics.com
They did the graphics for Ruach about 15 years ago and did an excellent job at that time. Hopefully, the quality of their work is still up to their former standards. Ruach sits on a mooring close to Shady Oaks Marina and is visible from Chalk Point Marina.

Dan,

Congrats!

Just checking – by the “name decal” are you referring to your new boat name Sakina, or are you looking to refurbish the Nonsuch decal on the cabinsides?

For boat names, another source to consider is BOAT/US.

If you’re looking to refurbish the Nonsuch decal, take a look at Owners Tips & Projects on the website. There’s an article on replacing the plastic builders plate at the back of the cockpit which also includes information about the Nonsuch decals.
