With the mast lying down, just slide if off the bottom after removing the retaining screw. It should be that simple.

Depending on the age of the Strong Track you’ll want to be careful how you roll it up. If it is sun fatigued it may break. As far as separating the mast for transport send me your phone number and I’ll take you through the steps.
